We offer DJ services for wedding receptions & ceremonies, private parties, gals & grand openings, corporate events, and school functions. We offer uplighting, monograms, social & photo booths, and more.

Do you provide a written contract that we both sign?2022-01-07T13:18:37-05:00

We prepare an agreement, e-sign or print, sign, and mail it back to us with the retainer. This will guarantee the date, talent, or services for your event.

We have a few packages to choose from or we can help create the appropriate package for your event. We do not have a ‘one size fits all’ approach to your event and do not disclose our fees without knowing the details of the event. We may recommend what is the best package based on your location and what you’ll need to make it great. Contact us with questions.

How much is the retainer? Are there intervals to pay the rest of the balance?2022-01-18T22:36:59-05:00

The initial retainer is typically $500 which is taken out of the balance. The balance is split up between one or more payments leading up to your event. The final payment is due 60 days before your event.

Do you have professional DJ equipment?2022-01-07T13:19:45-05:00

Yes. We use only the most reliable & recognized equipment. No tangled wires or damaged speakers. Our set-ups look and sound great!

Do you have backup equipment in the event something doesn’t work?2022-01-07T13:20:02-05:00

Yes. The most important music is backed up on an external hard drive, additional computer, an iPad, and cloud-based service. We keep all of our equipment in excellent condition and prepared if something were to break down.

How do I plan my wedding or event?2022-01-07T13:20:33-05:00

When you book with us, we’ll send you access to our easy-to-use planning app for your smartphone or tablet. This planning app will walk you through filling out the appropriate portions of the night with tons of song suggestions. Or upload your own from Spotify.

What type of clothes do you wear when you’re DJ’ing?2022-01-07T13:20:59-05:00

Formal, business causal, or whatever is most appropriate based on the style of your event. Let us know if you prefer a specific style during the planning process.

How much music do you bring to the event?2022-01-07T13:21:14-05:00

Each DJ has a large music library and will be prepared for your type of event. We will have the songs you’ve requested during the planning process.

Do you take breaks or require meal service?2022-01-07T13:21:37-05:00

We really don’t take breaks during your event. At a wedding or event over 5 hours, the DJ or service assistant will typically eat with the Photographers at a “vendor table” when the guests do. Unless other arrangements are made prior to the event.

What if I want to extend the party the night of the event?2022-01-07T13:21:53-05:00

If you and your guests are having a great time and want to extend the party, overtime rates are to be paid to BreakThrough Entertainment in full prior to the beginning of the overtime entertainment. Overtime rates are noted in the music contract.

Tipping2022-01-07T13:22:07-05:00

Tipping will not be written into the contract. If you feel you have received exceptional service, any gratuities would be taken as a great compliment.
